How the 6-Year Warranty Works

  • 2 Years Automatically: Every Blaupunkt appliance comes with 2 years of warranty cover from the date of purchase, no registration required.
  • +4 Extra Years With Registration: Register your appliance online within 90 days of purchase at blaupunktAU.com to extend your cover to a full 6 years.
  • Beyond the Manufacturer's Warranty: These benefits apply in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

What's Covered

  • Defects in Materials & Workmanship: Any fault caused by manufacturing defects, not wear and tear or misuse.
  • Domestic Use: Full cover applies to appliances used in a residential home. Appliances used commercially are limited to a 3-month warranty period.
  • Country of Purchase: Warranty is valid for appliances purchased and used within Australia.

What's Not Covered

  • Damage occurring during delivery or installation is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty — please inspect your appliance carefully on arrival.
  • Use of detergents or cleaning products not suitable for Blaupunkt appliances may affect your warranty. Contact customer service if you're unsure what to use.
  • Appliances used for commercial purposes are limited to a 3-month warranty period rather than the full 6 years.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  • Step 1: Have your proof of purchase ready (your Appliance Mega Store order confirmation or invoice).
  • Step 2: Contact Blaupunkt Customer Service on 1800 BLAUPUNKT (1800 252 878) to lodge your claim.
  • Step 3: If your appliance needs to be returned, make sure it's cleaned, drained, and free of debris, and securely packed and insured — Appliance Mega Store and Blaupunkt aren't responsible for damage during return transit.
